Sometimes darkness doesn’t come only with the setting of the sun. The refrain “It’s grown dark out there” echoes like a pain repeated on every continent... The light has faded, the rain has fallen, the eyes are gone. Even the carnations have turned dark along with their black eyes. The windows are shattered, the hands of lovers are left empty. Darkness isn’t just outside—it’s inside, in hearts, on the roads... Everywhere.
It grew dark
Slowly turning black
No light remained
Except for the leak
And if we don't count
The twinkling stars
It grew dark

When you left a glimmer in my eye
These are just pitch black
Maybe morning is near
It grew dark

it grew dark after the rain fell
it rained today
it was raining as you left
it grew dark

with your dark eyes
it grew dark in the red carnations
when you looked with your dark eyes
it grew dark around us

everywhere suddenly grew cold
as the last sweat dripped from my forehead
the warmth in my veins receded
the surroundings grew dark

shadows lengthened slowly
the howling of the winds subsided
the cries of the birds ceased
darkness fell

All the glass in the world shattered
Sad moments lined up in a row
The tasteless, saltless teas I drank
The surroundings darkened

Loves left empty-handed
A seal on hearts, very thick
Roads exhausted, the journey ended
The surroundings grew dark
