The Black Winter's Black Brow

There are some places that leave a mark on you. Maybe walking on a sidewalk, maybe under a street lamp... Who knows, life is as pure and simple as a butterfly touching a flower.
Now I've passed through the streets
Where I shed tears for you
Leaning against their walls
I remembered the tears I shed upon them
How real it all seemed
My world built upon lies
Now it's just memories
The traces he left behind are half-erased
What happened wasn't so empty after all
Memories left behind in songs and streets
The ropes I clung to turned out rotten
There was no one worth dying for
The loves I accepted are yet to come
Summer will come here one day too
Won't my shattered heart beat again?
Why should everything revolve around you?
After the lengthening shadows, the sun sets
Someone else will hold the hands that were left behind
Even if the traces remain, the black winter's black brow
Tulips and flowers bloom every spring
