The love for the Prophet is sometimes a longing, sometimes a refuge. This poem describes the love for the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) using the metaphor of a journey: weary feet, lengthening shadows, endless roads... But at the end of every verse, the same hope: "My hopes are on my paths, your love is in my heart." This poem is a servant's longing and devotion to his Master, with all its flaws, trials, and melancholy. To be able to say, "Please take me under your shadow there," is the language of the deepest love.
I have faint faint lines that I watch,
I have high insurmountable obstacles that I face,
I have flaws from yesterday that melt me,
I have hopes on my paths, I have your love in my heart.
