Everything I knew to be true was a lie

Everything I knew to be true was a lie

Your dream is in front of me, your eyes, your gaze.
The wind caresses your hair without me.
Then the grains of sadness reach your cheek.
He says he spoils the game he wrote himself.

Isn't it enough that you've broken and scattered?
You're passing through the lands that you've broken,
Look at the yellowed and bent sprouts behind you,
The shadows always lengthen as the red sun sets.

While waiting by the dry wells,
The empty water bucket entangled in the spinning wheel
I send my hopes again to the bottom of my hopes
Who knows, a Yusuf will come across you.

The earth has cooled down, the leaves no longer move
Don't look for warmth in the bodies you wrap
The pillow you lay your head on is a stone
The sleepless nights have begun again

My life narrowed to infinite horizons.
My fortune is four walls in the earth.
My manholes are blocked and my sighs don't pass.
I've got your soul under my fingernails.

What is happiness? Far away
With traps full of obstacles to cross
My wrapped body, with pierced spears
My cooling blood softly reached the earth

What's this wound, it never dries
You can't trust a human being.
You can't do this to anyone.
Everything I knew to be true was a lie

Once it gets cold, it won't get hot again.
Nothing hurts me this much anymore.
Love is just a strange blossom
My soul is weary of the path I walk
