Blue is more than just a color to me; it’s an endless sky, a sea full of hope. Cemal Süreya
John was walking by the sea with his old friend, the only sound being the crashing of the waves. The sky was filled with shades of blue, and the sun was slowly setting in the distance. His friend, Mark, had been distant for weeks. His face was pale, and his eyes seemed lost. John hadn’t seen him this way in years, but today, he knew they needed this time together.
“What’s been going on, Mark?” John asked, glancing over at him. Mark stayed quiet for a moment, staring at the sea. After a deep breath, he finally spoke, “Nothing seems to be going right in my life. It feels like everything is slipping away.”
John looked at his friend, trying to understand. He then spoke softly, “Mark, sometimes life gets tough. But trust me, this too shall pass. Every dark night eventually turns into a bright morning.”
Mark shook his head slightly, still lost in his own thoughts. John felt a sense of empathy and paused for a moment before recalling a quote by Cemal Süreya. He turned his gaze toward the horizon and said, “Blue is more than just a color to me; it’s an endless sky, a sea full of hope.”
Mark, hearing the words, felt a slight shift. Maybe, just maybe, there was hope after all, like the endless sea in front of them.
